Cloud processing comes later.
The browser-first release intentionally has no server conversion API. Vercel functions are the control plane, not a media-processing server.
Planned boundary
Uploads direct to storage. Jobs go to workers.
A future API will issue signed uploads, reserve usage atomically, queue isolated workers, and return expiring downloads. It will launch only when that infrastructure can enforce privacy, retention, and resource limits honestly.
